… the presence of Irene Urciuoli, an Italian performer who has been in Fabre's company for six years, emerges: delicate and concrete, she stands out for her precision and suppleness, her physical and evocative strength in the struggle for the power of beauty
How much can we truly learn about the person in front of us—without asking a single question? Where does intuition end, and bias begin?
The original text by Jan Fabre, performed in Italian with English surtitles, is enhanced by the intense interpretation of the excellent Irene Urciuoli who for about an hour covers the entire scene and does not hold back. At the end of the premiere, she was long and deservedly applauded. Worth seeing

“Questioning” is a unique theatrical experience without actors, where the main characters are the audience themselves. Each guest becomes part of a psychological game where observation, imagination, and intuition are the primary tools of discovery.

You enter a space that resembles both a theatre and a social experiment. Two rows of spectators sit opposite each other. You are invited to anonymously fill out a questionnaire about the person in front of you—based solely on your first impression.

And at the end, a surprise awaits you: you’ll receive a collection of what others “saw” in you. It might be uncannily accurate. It might be funny. It might be moving. But no one leaves indifferent.

Facing a stranger with nothing to hold onto but eye contact. This is theatre—and yet it’s not. But it certainly makes you think. Everything feels serious, if you don’t have the strength to smile
Teatralny Gorod
The fundamental layer of Magic Garden’s theatrical inquiry is audience perception and memory. This is an experiment that explores the blend of experience and imagination, intellect and intuition
Yuliana Dergaeva
You’re always aware that your partner will read what you write. You phrase things more carefully than you’d normally think about strangers
Anton Khitrov, theatre critic
An incredibly valuable experience—the person across from you feels closer after just an hour. A powerful reminder of how shallow our perception of others often is
Anna Banasyukevich, theatre critic
You squirm, regret your answers, fear the consequences. And yet—you want to do it again
Kristina Matvienko
A precisely crafted journey into the fragile soul of the spectator. Both comforting and unsettling to remember. You want to return
