The new Thoc building was completed in 2012 after a tendering procedure and the award of the design to Kythreotis Architects.
Opened on 28 October 2012 by the former president of the Republic of Cyprus, Demetris Christofias, the building has two performance spaces, the Main Stage Evis Gavriilidis Auditorium and the New Stage.
New Stage resembles an open workshop, with simple seating around the perimeter.
